Mug Swap '15

Hello my dears!

Over the Summer, I participated in an annual mug swap hosted by Kim. She has been doing this for about five years (this was my second year). Anyway, it's a lot of fun! When you sign up, you get matched with someone else in the US (or you can choose to be an international swapper) and get to learn a little bit about them and the things they like. You then find a mug that matches there preferences and, if you want, a few fun little goodies! Here are some pictures of the box I mailed out to my mug swapper in Washington! ;)

Mug, tea, notebook, cookies, fingerless gloves!

So pretty!

:)

The girl who got me as there mug person sent this cute little box all the way from California!

Aren't butterflies beautiful?

The was packaged up in this sweet little box. I can see some doll-sized potential...

Isn't this cute!? I haven't come up with a name for her yet. Any suggestions?

This is the mug I received last year, his name is Herman. ;)
(no, I'm not crazy. why do you ask?)

It's been lovely sharing with you! Stay tuned!

What I've been up to...

Hello ladies!  I've been doing so many different things lately yet, some how I have managed to document almost everything in photos for you!  (I know don't why I've been so uncharacteristically organized, but anyway...)

Last Monday we spent the day with some friends at their cottage.

Hammocks are such cozy things, aren't they?

My lovely, leafy canopy.

...and the leafs rustled, whispering a thousand secrets to the wind.

A particular little friend of mine helped me take pictures of the ducks.

They were being fed jelly donuts so they weren't going anywhere :)

There were a lot more pictures but I wanted to at least show a few.

Yay! I am officially (as of last Saturday) fifteen! That extremely blurry photo is me trying to give credit to my sister's impeccable taste in wrapping paper! Sorry it's blurry...

I receive three lovely scarves for my birthday (whoops, only two pictured).

The pictures don't really do justice...

The book pictured is a gift from my sister. It has all sorts of diy ideas inside, many of which are doll related!!!

Oh, and the tackle box. That is for organizing my wealth of buttons which have recently come into my possession.

My Godmother came later on for birthday dinner and these beautiful flowers from her garden.

All my favorite colors!

This hastily taken picture is of the gift that she brought (more on its contents later ;)

I only took this picture to show you the GORGEOUS green wrapping paper. Which, you could see...if the picture weren't so blurry... I hope to have a car that shade someday :D

My homemade ice cream cupcakes.

I made donuts, too. I somehow forgot to take a picture of the main dish, Pasty. Pasty is kind of an English thing, well Cornish, if you want to be specific. It is basically a hand-pie that is made with vegetables and bits of meat. The women use to make them for the miners and after eating the filling, the men would throw away the crust. That's your history lesson for today ;)

My Godmother gave me a shortbread pan and..............................................................*Drum roll .....................please...............*

SHE GAVE ME THREE AND A HALF POUNDS OF SPRINKLES!!!!!!!!!!
Thrilling, I know. :)

And, so this post won't be completely devoid of dolls......I give you, Bridget ;)

Doll feet ♥

If you made it through all of that, congratulations! I have enjoyed sharing with you!

Which was your favourite photo?
