Who doesn't love an owl? (no pun intended)

I mean, come on! They're adorable, right? Well, if you feel the same way, I'm sure that you'll LOVE these little guys!

A few years ago, we visited some crafty friends of ours and they taught us how to make these precious things! They are SO easy! You don't need to know any fancy sewing or embroidering stitches to make them, either! (Yes, you've probably guessed that I like using exclamations points.)

Plus, there is no end to the colors, patterns or themes, that you make them in!

All that is required to make one of these is felt, embroidery floss, a sewing needle, and buttons!

A friend of mine requested these owls as a special custom order for her and her husband. She asked for a librarian owl and a DOT owl (department of transportation).

Hopefully I will be able to get the pattern for these cuties up within the next day or so. I have a few owls that I'm currently working on for my cousins as Christmas gifts. I'll be sure to put up pictures of the finished products, too. :)

3 Days 'til Christmas!

Yes, I know. You all have probably been wondering whether or not I've fallen off the face of the earth! The answer is no, I'm still here. Sorry it's been so long!

Can you believe that we only have three more days until Christmas! I certainly can't. I snapped these pictures of Mackenzie this afternoon enjoying her new "perch". Cute, huh?

Aaawww...

She is going to be so upset when the tree has to go back in the basement, *ehem*.

I think she started to get annoyed after about the first dozen pictures or so. LOL.

What do your pets think of your tree? If you have one that is.

Merry Christmas!

For All the Saints Artist Card Swap 2014

  Hello Everyone!

I have been trying to get up a post for almost two weeks and now, finally, here I am!

Now, my mom has a blog that she has been following for a while now and yesterday she showed me this post.  I thought that it sounded like a lot of fun! There are much clearer instructions on this lady's blog, but basically you design five saint-related trading cards and send them to her. Then she sends them out to different people who have contributed cards. There is no age limit, anyone is welcome to contribute a sample of their artwork! If you end up making some, let me know!

Have fun!

Woodstock Fair Entry 2014

Hello! I'm sorry it's been such a super long time between posts! I've been really busy with schoolwork as of late and haven't had a chance to post. Sorry!

Anyway, in other news! Earlier in September I had submitted an entry in our local fair. I finely got some photos that I thought yo might like to see.

This is my baby blanket that I made for a friend of the family.

There were so many talented entries this year!

My brother entered this birdhouse that he made our mom for Christmas. Isn't it great!?

Hope you've enjoyed! I plan to post a few more things later this week if all goes as planned.

American Girl Beforever Release!

   Good afternoon everybody!

I'm so excited to finally see all of the new changes that American girl has made! The first thing that I noticed was the colors. Everything is so vivid! Here are a few of my favorites!

First of all, I LOVE Addy's new dress! That blue looks lovely on her!

Okay, the moment that I saw Caroline in this dress my first thought was, "Cinderella!" What do you think?

I'm usually not a fur coat person but this outfit is so cute! Once again, beautiful colors!

Julie's dress is pretty but it could be a tad longer, in my opinion.

I wasn't crazy about Kit's new meet outfit but the rest of her new clothing was really cute!

Okay, I love hats and AG came out with so many cute ones this time!

Awesome color pairing in this outfit, however, I think they could have done a better job on her dress.

It looks a little awkward to me. But the sweater is super cute!

I really like Rebecca's meet outfit! She looks so cute in purple!

And her holiday dress is so pretty! Her hair is so cute like that!

Yay! Samantha's back! I'm glad they didn't change her too much. Her dress, though looks short for the Victorian Era.

Really, really cute hat!  Great job AG!

This coat reminds me of the coat that use to be in her collection. It got a nice face-lift.

I don't know about this dress... It's a little too....shiny.

This ice-cream set is so cute!

And last but not least, Samantha's bicycle! It's really cute but would it really have been that pink?

So, now that you've heard my opinion, what do you think? Comment, and let me know :)
